Great accommodation, humor and enthusiasm.
Although the trip was only five days it seemed like weeks because it was packed with wonderful bird and nature sightings, great accommodations, humor, and enthusiasm. Our guide was not only an expert bird guide but a great host to the natural environment of Poland. The ecological gem of old growth forest in Bialowieza National Park is a highlight and not to be missed.
Thank you BirdGUIDE Poland for a most memorable experience. We plan to do this trip again sometime in the future!

Absolutely recommended!
My opinion after my last birding visit to Bialowieza National Park is that to have great results in a short time - you should contact Waldemar from BirdGUIDE Poland.
His great work in previously locating such important species as Pygmy Owl, Gray-headed Woodpecker, Three-toed Woodpecker, White-backed Woodpecker, Hazel Grouse and many others is definitely the key for securing these birds.
Absolutely recommended!

Great trip thanks to Valdi!
That was a great choice, Valdi – our guide was not only a pleasant and very friendly person, but a knowledgeable guide in target areas, all birds and nature as a whole. His deep knowledge of history and culture of Poland also pleased us deeply.
Everything worked very well, not only birding but also cosy accommodation, good meals and transportation. He even arranged us a car ride to Gdansk after the birding part of our tour. And – we found and photographed the Aquatic Warblers already on the first evening 😉

I can’t recommend highly enough!
Over a period of about five years, BirdGUIDE Poland have taken me round the entire eastern half of Poland in a series of private birding trips at all times of the year, ranging from deepest winter through spring to high summer and from the Baltic coast in the north to the high Tatra mountains at the southern edge of Poland. We’ve seen wolves, ermine, bisons, raccoon dogs; only the cunning Lynx has evaded us.
Working with BirdGUIDE Poland ensures the day is always a success and it is a joy, since where the amateur visitor may hope to jump in and find immediate success, the guide knows when to wait, when to move on, when to return. Alone, this process would be impossibly frustrating and ultimately unsuccessful.
The joy of waking up in one of the most obscure parts of a great forest is that one knows the whole of nature is as it should be; we sought everything from Tengmalm’s owl, Hazel hen, Green sandpiper and the entire set of European woodpeckers through Greater Spotted Eagle and, as dusk fell - a hunting Great Grey owl, breathtaking in its silence...
BirdGUIDE Poland network is superb, enabling plan A to be successfully switched to B if any external factor changes the game.
I can’t recommend BirdGUIDE Poland services highly enough!

That is professionalism at its best!
I have been on two tours with BirdGUIDE Poland, and I must say, the guide was an excellent tour guide and as a person - very easy going and with a good sense of humour.
My first tour was to the Bialowieza forest in northeastern Poland. Our guide had been there a few days before our tour, doing his homework, so he knew exactly where to find all the birds - that is professionalism at its best!
It was great, we saw all woodpeckers plus Tengmalm's and Pygmy owl among many others, also saw European bisons grazing on meadows just outside the forest.
My second tour with BirdGUIDE Poland was to Biebrza Marshes, a huge wetland area. Again we were a small group and again we stayed in a small family owned sleep-in with delicious food. We had several target species and we saw all of them! Besides these species there were lots of waders and waterfowl, White-backed woodpecker, Bluethroat and Moose.
These two birding tours were some of the best ever, and I can only recommend it.
